In an ever changing labour market, skills required reflect the market’s dynamics. New skills required include cognitive & socio-emotional skills, digital skills, STEM, Green skills, soft skills, composite skills, entrepreneurial and career management skills.
RisiAlbania project has been one of the main contributors the third session of the National VET Conference in Albania, on the topic “Labour market relevance of skills as a driving force for increased attractiveness of the VET network”.
Contributing to a panel dedicated to “Labour market relevance of skills as a driving force for increased attractiveness of the VET network”, Mrs. Edlira Muedini Project Manager of RisiAlbania gave her contribution on the importance of career management skills in VET and beyond as well as about related achievements and challenges on the service provision of the career guidance in Albania.
The two day National VET conference in Albania, a joint effort of all the key stakeholders and partners served as a common space of stocktaking on the achievements, challenges, and way forward of the ongoing reform in the skills development sector.
The conference was hosted by Ministry of Finance and Economy in partnership with the European Union Delegation in Albania and the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC), with the support of the Skills Development for Employment Programme of UNDP in Albania.
