Professionals from the field of pre-university general education, vocational education, academia, municipalities, and civil society organizations participated in a three-day training on “Career Development Skills” from January 16th to 18th. The training focused on understanding and learning about careers, as well as strengthening learning skills through experience. Participants also discussed the importance of collaboration between schools, families, local institutions, business connections, and national coordination in career guidance. The “DOTS” curriculum was offered as the training’s main focus for enhancing learning skills.

Representatives from academia, partner organizations, and schools discussed the challenges and opportunities in working with adolescents and young people. They emphasized the need for more coordination and monitoring of interventions to achieve better results in the field.

During the conducted workshop, successful practices and interventions carried out by RISIAlbania in strengthening the career guidance system through collaboration with local authorities, academia, and other partner organizations were discussed.
